My forefathers were diplomatically savvy. I learnt from them firsthand before formal or Western education.

I wrote against the planned invasion of Iraq under the pretext of having weapons of mass destruction in 2003. We all know the consequences of that violation of international law by the United States of America and its allies on the Iraqi people and their country.
When you juxtapose the fact that the Iraqi invasion and destruction happened under an American leader you can consider as ‘responsible’ with leverage on his chain of command, you can not imagine what those handling the present command structure of the American military under a ‘ko gbọ́ nkankan’ leader will do to Nigeria.

The issue for me with the threat from the White House was that we, in one voice, should first address the existential threat the man in Washington posed to the well-being of all Nigerians.

The intent is for us to come back in-house after that threat is mitigated or eliminated to confront the internal contradictions within Nigeria.

One thing you cannot accuse me of, if you are not being mischievous, is not railing against the successive failure of true and visionary leadership across all spheres of life in Nigeria over the years. Where the heck were you in April 2016 when I wrote about “The Other Murderous Herdsmen In Our Midst”?
